The Bentonville Tiger Softball team won two games Friday night at the Field of Dreams to push their record to 8-0 on the season. Bentonville 3 Alma 0 Cailey Cochran was dominant on the mound against Alma throwing a 2 hit shutout while striking out 11 batters on the way to the win. Bentonville had 6 hits in the game two coming from Megan Crownover with one being a long home run into the RV Park deep into left center field. Crownover finished 2-3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Bentonville 2 Benton 1 Maddy Prough got the win for Bentonville going the distance while allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits and piling up 5 strikeouts. Bentonville collected 6 hits in the contest with Haley Cornell hitting two loud doubles and Payton Wildamen going 1-3 with a 2 out 2 RBI double in the 3rd inning to put Bentonville ahead for good. Bentonville will return to action in the Field of Dreams Tournament in Van Buren tomorrow morning at 11:30 against the Van Buren Pointers
