TIGER VOLLEYBALL - NEW HEAD COACH
Coach Allison Venable just completed her 11th year coaching volleyball, and her 6th year coaching in the Bentonville School District. She has been the assistant varsity coach at Bentonville West for the past 6 years. She began coaching club in Tulsa, Ok while she was completing her senior year at Bishop Kelley High School. During her time at Bishop Kelley, her team held the 5a state title for her three years playing varsity; including her senior year as the captain. Then as soon as she arrived in Arkansas to attend the University of Arkansas, she began coaching for Ozark Juniors Volleyball where she had the privilege of coaching all age ranges and even leading a team to nationals. In her years coaching with Ozark Juniors, she received her Bachelor in the Art of History degree and then her Master of the Art of Teacher degree from the U of A. Even before she graduated from the U of A, she knew that Bentonville was where she wanted to be. She feels so honored to be warmly welcomed by Coach Smith and Coach Moore. She is so excited to work with Michelle and Kelli, the coaches this community knows and loves, in this time of transition. Coach Venable is a passionate, driven, and dedicated coach. She will work every day to assure that the Bentonville Tiger’s Volleyball program is filled with not only exceptional players, but exceptional young women. Coach Venable has expressed how proud and blessed she feels to be stepping into the role of head coach at the best Volleyball program in the state of Arkansas. She cannot wait to dive in, and lead this program to continued success and growth.
